BECOME A REGISTERED NURSE
FVI's Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program prepares students for an entry-level professional nursing position. Through the program students will develop knowledge and the necessary skills to promote health and well-being while providing care for patients with alterations in psychosocial and physiological integrity.
Demand for quality registered nurses is high, thanks in part to a changing healthcare industry and an aging population. According to a report by Georgetown University, the economy will create 1.6 million job openings for nurses through 2020. Of the 1.6 million jobs, 700,000 will be newly created opportunities and 880,000 will result from retirements.
